What sets you apart from other photographers?
Two major things—the level of experience you’re getting at my price point and the fact that I care more. I want to get to know y’all as a couple and provide y’all the best experience imaginable. I only take on a few weddings every year so that I can provide a personal experience to all my clients—this essentially means that you have access to me whenever you need it. 11PM before the wedding day and have a change of plans—just text me and I’ll respond.

What is your photography style?
I shoot in a ‘Guided Documentary’ style, blending the best of traditional, editorial, and documentary wedding photography. Think classic must-have shots, artsy details, and candid moments—all capturing heartfelt moments with an elevated touch.

How long have you been shooting weddings?
I’ve been capturing weddings for nearly half a decade, with over 50 celebrations under my belt. That’s a lot of love stories I’ve had the honor of documenting—and I’m still just as excited for every single one!

What should I know about your packages upfront?
My collections start with me capturing your day in that ‘Guided Documentary’ style—think classic shots, artsy details, and candids—all edited and delivered in hi-res within 2 weeks. Check out the full details on my packages page, or shoot me a message—I’m happy to break it down for y’all!

“Starting at”? What is the actual price?
The starting rate is applicable to payments made with cash/check/e-check. In this case, the only addition to the starting price would be the state sales tax so long as you are within my free travel range.

How do we reserve our wedding date?
A 25% retainer & signed contract is required in order to get your wedding on the calendar. The remainder of your balance is due by your wedding date.

What is your process for the wedding day?
For full weddings, I show up 3 hours early to capture the details, getting-ready, and decor. I grab a mix of documentary-style candids and guide key moments like the first look or touch, plus family and bridal party portraits—ensuring y’all receive a rich variety of cherished memories.

How do you handle the timeline?
I work with y’all beforehand to fit in all the photos you want, especially if you’ve got specifics in mind. I’ll guide you on how long shots might take, letting you know what flows easily and what might be a stretch, so we can plan a timeline that works perfectly for your day.

How many photographers will be there at our wedding?
All of my wedding collections come with a single photographer (me!). The Eclipse Package grants you a 2nd photographer, hand-picked by myself.

What equipment do you use?
I carry 2 camera bodies most of the time—a Canon R5 and an R6 with a mix of prime and zoom lenses to tell your story from different perspectives. Additionally, lighting is never an issue as I have the equipment and experience to light any scenario, from pitch-black outdoor venues at night and large halls with high dark ceilings to lovely neutral-colored spaces with abundant natural light. I do it all.

What happens if something goes wrong—like rain or delays?
I’ve got y’all covered no matter what! Rain or crazy weather? I’ve got backup gear and tricks to make it work. Delays or hiccups? I roll with it and still get all the shots. I’m fully insured too, so if anything wild happens, we’re good—I’ll keep your day stress-free and the photos on point.

Are you insured?
Yes! Some venues require all vendors to be insured. I carry current coverage so that’s something you won’t have to worry about when booking with me.

Do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?
Yes! I have a Videographer that I like to work with as well as a DJ, and a photobooth operator. Just ask if you’re curious.

Do you photograph destination weddings?
Yes! I have my passport ready. I’d love to work with y’all on creating a custom package.

What is your policy on travel and accommodation?
For weddings within 50 miles of my home in Leon Valley, TX, travel’s on me—no charge. Beyond 50 miles, I add a small fee based on the current IRS mileage rate. If it’s more than a 3-hour trip, I ask y’all to cover mileage plus a place to stay the night before and the night of the wedding. That way, I’m right nearby, ready to roll, with no hiccups getting to y’all on time!

How soon after the wedding will the photos be ready?
I aim for a 2-week turnaround time to get y’all the full gallery, all edited and ready. Busy seasons might push it a little, but I stick to that timeline as much as I can so y’all don’t have to wait long.

In what format are the photos delivered?
I deliver all your hi-res edited photos through an online gallery. Y’all can download everything right from there and share the gallery with whoever you want—super simple and ready to enjoy!

Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?
I respect your privacy and allow each client to decide whether or not they want their photos displayed publicly. I love to show off the couples that I work with. But if you prefer to keep your photos private, just let me know.

Can we share the photos on social media?
Yes, please do—I encourage it! Y’all deserve to show off your big day. If you feel like tagging my profiles, I’d love that, but no pressure.

Do you retain the copyright to the photos?
Per industry standard, I keep the copyright, but y’all are free to share, print, and enjoy the photos however you want for personal use. Just don’t sell them without checking with me first—mostly so I don’t get caught off guard seeing my work pop up in an ad somewhere!

Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?
Minor edits will be made to all of your images, but I believe our imperfections are what make us beautiful & unique. If there are specific edits you want, these will be charged according to the number and complexity of edits.

Do I have to order prints through you?
I highly recommend ordering prints through one of my professional vendors, but it isn’t required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I always love to help with prints!
